About MCEP

Our School is one Marysville's Best Schools.
We focus on scholastic development, personal growth, and ethical enrichment.

The Marysville Cooperative Education Program is a non-profit school in Marysville School District that allows parents to have a hands-on approach with their child’s education. MCEP has a stimulating curriculum and a supportive environment to ensure our students experience success every day. We focus on scholastic development, personal growth, and ethical enrichment. The result: students who are independent and confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic, responsible and compassionate.

We believe the elementary school years are the most formative of a child’s life. These early years can breed intellectual apathy or curiosity to seek knowledge.
A time marked by creative, social, and emotional development, and characterized by a lifelong love of learning and the joys of new, diverse friendships.

Marysville Cooperate Education Program School was founded in 1987 to provide students with excellent academic programs and a nurturing environment with close student-teacher-parent relationships. MCEP prepares students for success both personally and academically.

The benefits of our “Many hands” approach range from:

Increased frequency and magnitude of fieldtrips:

Each class tries to go on at least 1 field trip a month as an extra classroom compliment to further enrich their normal classroom studies.

Interactive learning in the classroom:

Small group activities, individual coaching, and Specialist help get the drive for learning started early, and you will frequently be surprised by the variety and depth of learning that your child is doing right before your eyes.

Close and lasting friendships:

Our small class sizes, combined with consistent and beneficial parent involvement leads to not only quick friends for your kids, but between Coop families as well. You will not only get to know your child’s peers but you will be working with like minded parents in the classroom as well.

Getting to know the person behind the title:

Your weekly involvement will lead to not only a working knowledge of your child’s educator, it will allow you to get to know them in a way that’s rarely possible in a traditional school setting that fosters an environment of open communication and collaboration between families and teachers.

And that’s why our “many hands make light work” approach works. Each child receives the support of everyone in the MCEP family. And our Parent Volunteers are the heart of our family.
